Long time Blazer and NBA fan in my late 30's. I was a bit too young to truly enjoy the '77 championship team, but I spent a lot of paper route money on standing room only tickets at the MC in the early 80s. I had great fun watching the Drexler/Porter teams develop and thrive. Probably my most memorable game I saw in person (from the rafters) was the double overtime game 5 thriller against the Spurs in the 1990 Conference Semis. I was fortunate enough to see the 1992 original dream team twice during the tournament of the Americas, an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience!
I fell out of love with both the team and the league during the Jail Blazer years and when they made people like Iverson the face of the league. I didn't care if they were winning when they were doing it with a cast of characters like that! With the arrival of KP and his rookie class of 2006 we started going to games as a family again. For 2007/08 we moved up to 1/2 season tickets and 08/09 will be our first year with full season tickets. I am fortunate enough to sit on the Trail Blazers Fan Advisory Board for 2008. My wife and infant daughter attend most games with me, my teenage son comes about half the time.
I enjoy photography and have an active flickr site as well.
